I couldn't be happier with my stay at habitat backpackers!! The staff were always super kind, Emma the manager is available for any of your queries, super friendly but also professional. She also gave me some tips about job hunting. Budi is so hardworking and keeps the place clean along with the other staff members. Im happy to say this place was like my second home. The people you meet here are fantastic! I met so many backpackers and connected with wonderful human beings. I think the best thing about Habitat is its open space common area and open kitchen. It gives a wonderful opportunity to socialize with other people while having a meal or playing together. Theres also an open area where you can exercise! If you want a bit more privacy and quiet, I recommend staying in the 5 people room. If you dont mind sharing with many other people for a cheaper price, then you can stay in the bigger dorm :) Thank you so much Habitat and staff ❤️❤️

I really enjoyed staying here, the staff is very friendly and always try’s to help you if you have a problem. Rooms are good. Would come here again good working hostel !

Somehow found myself sleeping on a couch in this hostel after a drunken night out. (I was not staying at the hostel) I had no lost all my belongings and the staff were wonderful and helped me so much. Will be forever grateful. The bathrooms were a big help too

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Words will never be able to express how grateful I am to have spent almost 3 months at Habitat. From the very first time I stepped foot on the hostel, staff was amazing. Emma is the best receptionist/manager you'll meet. Always friendly, close to detail and kind. Budhi is the most loyal and friendly person and he'll be happy to help in any need. I meet amazing fellow travellers that will stay always in my heart, holding a special place. Usually at habitat, lots of nice people converge and form a really nice and friendly environment. Good amenities. Complimentaty tea always appreciated. Habitat fam for ever, my home in Brisbane

This hostel is perfect for backpackers but also for anyone looking for cheap accommodation, but at the same time very close to the city centre. the rooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy, the common areas are equipped, and there is a very chill atmosphere. Mark, the guy at the reception, is really easy going and helpful! super recommended!!

We stayed at Habitat Backpackers for the majority of the time we were in Brisbane and loved staying there. Rooms had everything you need with friendly staff, ready to help you out with anything. The kitchen was big enough to always have a spot to cook and eat. Really great hostel for long stays and makes you feel like family!

Hello, I stayed one night in this hostel, The staff is friendly and professional, Emma and Budy were super kind and welcome! They let me check-in before 2 and helped me with my luggage. The showers and bathrooms are cleaned and nice. The atmosphere at the habitat was cool and relaxed. In 24 h I met great fellows, I really recommend you this Hostel ☀️😎

We stayed here for 3,5 months while working and found friends for life! The staff are truly amazing and are what makes the place, as they’re always trying to ensure the comfort of the guests. We stayed in the 50 persons room which had its up’s and down’s, but overall it was very good! Next time we are in Brisbane we are going back to habitat backpackers for sure. Thank you for making our time in Brisbane very special😊 /F&E

It’s hard to write this review without getting emotional, because staying here has been one of the most special experiences of my life. I’ve been surrounded by such beautiful people — both the guests and the amazing staff, who are incredibly kind and always ready to help with a smile. Spending two months in this warm and welcoming hostel truly felt like home. The people I met here are genuinely wonderful souls, and they will stay in my heart forever. Thank you for creating such a magical place where travelers can feel loved, connected, and part of a big family.
